Scott started his career in public accounting as a staff accountant with Colby & Powell, PLC. shortly after his graduation from Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah. Scott knew right away that this is where he wanted to spend his career. When he is not at work, Scott spends his time outdoors, whether that be in the mountains hunting and fishing, or spending time on the lake with his wife and four children. Scott currently serves as a young men’s leader at his church, leading a group of 10-15 young men in weekly adventures and activities. During his early years, Scott served a two-year mission in Costa Rica and speaks Spanish as a second language.Professionally, Scott enjoys helping his clients achieve their goals, whether that is through sophisticated tax planning, or through an established business plan and model. Scott provides a variety of tax services for both individuals and businesses. In addition to tax services, Scott provides audit, accounting, and consulting services to non-profit and local government clients.Education – B.S.
